OSWPC is very pleased to announce that the Evendale Recreation Center (ERC) is welcoming us to their facility beginning July 22nd for our 2010 Summer Scrimmages. As some of you know the Village of Evendale takes its swimming programs very seriously, and we are excited to bring water polo to the list of activities that take place at the ERC.

The facility is a 25-meter, 8-lane pool with a 4-ft shallow end and all-deep end. In addition, OSWPC has made a very important and strategic purchase this summer – two (2) ANTI Flipfloat water polo cages from TruWest to be delivered this week (http://www.antiwave.com/flipfloat.htm)
These full-size, floating goals collapse for easy storage/transport and will provide OSWPC the ability to utilize more facilities that do not have cages available. They can be used at our home tournaments in the warm-up area to enhance the experience of these events.

All players in high-school and older (our best player is 46…) are invited to join us for scrimmages on Thursday and Sunday nights from 9-11pm, July 22nd – Sept. 12th. Younger swimmers/players are invited to join if they are able to compete proficiently – the scrimmages include some of the best players in Ohio, so be prepared. Please arrive between 8:30-9 to help set-up and warm-up.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver (under 18 must have parental consent) and must either be a fully-paid OSWPC member, or pay a nominal fee as outlined below. The fee can either be per practice, or one-lump sum. This fee helps the club to offset the costs of lifeguards, insurance, referees and equipment (balls, caps, goals, etc) – all you need is a suit.

Per-Session Fee: $5
Season Fee: $50 (includes all 16 practices through Sept 12th)
(Active OSWPC members – $60 per quarter)

Exceptions to Schedule:
It is possible that scrimmages may be cancelled due to weather or unforeseen events. In the event that more than 2 scrimmages are cancelled, we will refund $5 from the season fee. Please include your email on the waiver form or we will not be able to contact you in the event of a change.

The waiver can be found at the following link. If you are under 18, you must bring this waiver signed by a parent to the first practice or you will not be able to participate. Period.
